Re: Fake Friends Sillyness

Mon Sep 29, 2008, 6:47 AM
Warning: Logical inconsistencies, and multiple grammatical errors ahead!

Please note: I have noticed your journals regarding the fake friends repost thing.

I just don't see how jumping on a bandwagon is a true test of friendship. Although I enjoy the friends I have made here, I came here to display my art, not social network. I assume people are reading my journals, because it is a service from me to you. I try to keep my personal life out of it as much as possible, and only inform those who might be interested about my art. If nobody reads it, it's no skin off my nose. That is all I have to say.

Danger has passed, carry on.

Please Note: Comments make you sexy, and worthy of affection.

YEA!!!! I'm sexy!!! I too refused to reply or repost to the "You'll only be my friend if you put this up on your deviant page" due to its utter BS (I don't know if you'd be offended at me cussing). It's a chain mail...no one wants them emailed why is this one any different?

But you already knew that I guess...:blushes:

ಠ_ಠ The fact that no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist.
:iconvousielle:
Why would I be offended? Cuss away!

Emperor, bestow on me Your righteous fury and Your furious strength. Let me become the storm that blasts the enemy from Your sight.

WORRRD.
Totally agree with that. I consider friendships on DA to be secondary---They're sure nice an' I treasure 'em, but I'm primarily on here for feedback 'n such.
Pretteh retarded whiny bandwagon, that was.

I dont know, I consider that social interaction is what makes a community. anyways, I respect your point of view... regarding friends, you cant expect to find true friends in an online community (although it may happen), i think, and you cant expect everybody to reply to chain mails and stuff like that. i dont like those chains and also try to avoid being tagged, but i can consider those who want me to do them as friends. friendship shouldnt be overlooked, i think ';p

anyways, its just my opinion :lmao:
:iconpsypsynel:
So very true.

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.

I haven't found Deviantart to be very effective for social networking. Most friendships, if you want to call them that, that I have here are ephemeral or distant. There's really no substitute for meeting people in real life.
